I just came from the hospital, and Stacey was working the GERI Giraffe "Lucky" over with her right hand. She also gave me a light squeeze with her LEFT hand and she wiggled her LEFT toes. Very good news. She is alert, talking, eating, and healing. They are working on identifying a rehab center, and I will keep everyone posted concerning which center they choose and when she is well enough for discharge from the hospital and transfer to rehab.
